Lake Ballard Statues

The now famous Sir Antony Gormley sculptures at Lake Ballard represent over 50 of the residents of the town of Menzies. These carbonised steel figures are stretched across a white salt lake, and fitted out with plenty of water you can walk to some or all of them while I prepare some billy tea and bush camp oven damper with jam for you on return. On the way back, if time permits, we can call into an Outback Bush Pub, such as Ora Banda or Broad Arrow for a refreshing drink.

If you’re after something even more special then flying is your option! - Out of Perth or Kalgoorlie. Firstly, fly over the famous Lake Ballard then land in Menzies where I will take you to the site to meet the sculptures first hand. (Price to be negotiated).
