Our Story

Big Sky Red Earth Camp Ovens Big Sky Red Earth Korka the Kangaroo Big Sky Red Earth

I have been running big Sky Red Earth Adventures for the last 3 years. It has been a great experience mixing with people of all age groups. The Lake Ballard Sir Antony Gormley statues on the salt lake has been the most popular. But my most popular tour is Round the Rocks with wildflowers south of Coolgardie and part of the Great Western Woodlands.

It has also been great to be part of the American student exchange program. Three times a year students from Indiana in the US visit the Goldfields. Nice to share our culture with them.

As a 6th generation West Aussie and with over 25 years working in the environment, and the last 12 years working in the Goldfields Region I have the knowledge of the bushland within your reach. I am also a part time prospector and have travelled extensively throughout the Goldfields.

I was born and bred on a wheat and sheep farm in Narembeen in the Central Wheat belt of West Australia, so being out bush is what I like and would love to share some of those experiences with you.

I am more than happy to customise your tour. You tell me what you want to experience.

Big Sky Red Earth So looking forward to continuing my bush tours with hopefully linkages to other regions such as my family in the wheatbelt.
